A college grant is a great way to
find the money that you need to attend school. Unlike a student
loan, grants do not need to be repaid. Your search for a college grant doesn’t need to end with your income level, career goals, or academic merit. There are other factors to take into consideration that can open the doorway to additional grant money. College students should take into consideration the careers their parents have worked in. Many times the occupation parents held can provide grant programs for their children. Other factors to take into consideration include your age, ethnic heritage, any community, civic, or religious organizations that you’ve been a member of, and the type of school you plan to attend. By taking these factors into account, and devising a strategy for your search, you can successfully find grant programs that you can apply for... and succeed. |
